Read 2 learn, learn 2 understand, understand 2 apply
Its amaizing how we can read and not understand, just because we are reading with a microscope instead of looking at the whole, the panoramic picture.
Reading the Bible is the same way. We have to look at the whole, the word of God is alive and as such we have to read, learn, understand and apply.
Please post your comments about what you learned last Friday and the next two Fridays, that way even Toranzo will capture what's in your heart.

About friday's teaching -- it was really awesome.
The meeting was a bit weird with the last-minute change of place, the time that we started (super late) and the changing of the program but despite that the Professor's teaching was, to me, a breath of fresh air. I love learning new stuff about the Bible and what he told us was very interesting (specially the genesis' prophecy regarding the seed of the woman).
The one thought that has been on my mind since that friday night is that God speaks to us slowly, he reveals His will on his time... no de un solo a la vez. Lately I have been seeing that in my life and it was nice to be reassured of that.
The only thing that I will change will be program-wise.. I'm working on that though..
I think that we are gonna have to give Toranzo more time so maybe just a song or a quick ice breaker will do for the rest of the program.
Those are my 2 cents...

The first thing I did when I was alone at home was dig up my BIG-old Study Bible (NIV-oh well ;) I was inspired. I used the cross references and study notes and began a lil study that moved me around in there. I learned something new about Ananias and Sapphira that I never knew before. It was fresh - I needed that.
Regarding the place, I felt Iliana's house was ideal for that type of study. I'm glad it worked out that way.
